Report on Poetry Workshop.

The Literary Club in collaboration with library committee of Sikkim Government B.Ed College,Soreng organized a Poetry Workshop on 27/03/25 at the college library. The workshop aimed to enhance the poetic skills of the trainees by providing insights into poetry writing and recitation. The program was graced by Mr. Simeyon Sukita Rai, the winner of Poet Idol Season II, as the chief guest. The event was hosted by Miss Srijana Karki Chhetri, who commenced the session with a warm welcome speech, setting an enthusiastic tone for the workshop.

The chief guest delivered an engaging lecture on poetry, enlightening the trainees about the elements of poetry, techniques of writing, and the art of recitation. He emphasized the importance of emotions, rhythm, and structure in crafting impactful poems. Following the lecture, an interactive activity was conducted, allowing the participants to apply the concepts learned. The activity created a lively and engaging atmosphere, fostering creativity among the attendees.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Miss Sashmita Tamang, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, organizers, and participants for making the session successful and enriching.
